Team Racing for a Cure and the
Leading into when the first Brian’s Sports Cards and Collectibles Fan of the Night pick this Saturday Night … Race Fans will surely want to take in the Hartzel Road St. Catharines’ Grand Opening May 10th from 10 to 4.
For years, Brian’s Tire Repair has held a fund-raising and awareness event in support of Team Racing for a Cure and their efforts in the annual Relay for Life with a BBQ and an impressive display of Team Brian’s Race Cars on display.
In conjunction with the Grand Opening of Brian Simms’ new business – for a minimum donation of $10.00 – supporters will receive a draw ticket on some great memorabilia. “Since 1998 Racing for a Cure has been part of the Relay for Life,” said (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “ the event itself is 12 hours but year in and year out they invest so many more hours which makes them one of the best.
What a better way to spend what is now our Season Opener … seeing some race cars up close … looking through all the collectibles at Brian’s and supporting a great cause!” Team Racing for a Cure’s Draw which will take place at the Relay for Life features a Grand Prize of a Johnny Bower signed Maple Leaf Authentic Game Jersey which has a value of $300.00.
Other prizes include a Wendel Clark signed Authentic Framed Picture, a Boston Bruins Fathead, a Jeff Gordon Model and Dale Earnhardt Playing Cards and a Babe Ruth Collector Edition Figurine, Team Brian’s Tire Repair Drivers that will also sport the new Brian’s Sports Cards logo in 2014 include Hoosier Stocks Chris Crawford, Rob Murray and Brad Sheehan, the J&S Heating and Air Conditioning Modified Lite of Paul Klager, the Bobcat of Hamilton 358 Modified of Tim Jones, the Rick’s Delivery Sportsman Cars of 2013 Mr. DIRTcar Champion Brad Rouse and 2014 Turn 4 Collision 4 Cylinder Rookie Alex Riley and most recently - Ohsweken Speedway Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Car Division Driver Mikey Kruchka.
The 2014 Relay for Life is at Brock University, beginning at 7 PM June 20th and finishes at 7 AM June 21st and is an inspirational non-competitive 12-hour over night fundraising event that brings you and your community together to celebrate life and fight cancer.
Team Racing for a Cure’s fundraising BBQ at Brian’s Sports Cards and Collectibles also features Jumping Castles and Face Painting for Children.
