Safety Kid’s Club
Safety doesn’t happen all by itself. It takes smart preparation, quality equipment and a well-trained workforce. As Merrittville Speedway’s new Kid’s Club Sponsor – Honeywell Safety is dedicated to helping young race fans and their families build a Culture of Safety. .
“Safety is a daily responsibility at work and at home,” informs (Merrittville GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “our new partnership with Honeywell Safety will educate us all … and for 2015 Kid’s Club Members … they’ll have a whole lot of fun during the racing season – some new activities will join with some traditional!”
Leading up to the new season, Parents can pick up a Registration Form during the Race Car Show on now at the Seaway Mall until Friday March 13th. Prior to race time throughout the season, the Honeywell Safety Kid’s Club Area behind the Main Grandstand has activities scheduled for members – many of them traditional events and some new additions as well.
The Membership rate for children 12 and under is $20.00.

In addition to all the activities, Honeywell Safety Kids Club Members also receive a Safety Kit including Eye and Ear Protection, a T-Shirt and Membership Card.

Registration Night for the 2015 Merrittville Speedway Honeywell Safety Kids Club is set for Saturday May 9th’s Dave’s Small Engines Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Event. Throughout the racing season, Kids Club Members will have Kids Club ONLY meet and greets with drivers prior to race time seeing the race cars up close through all 5 Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Divisions and others that visit during the season. Many special events include a variety of crafts and games and one favorite annual event that everyone looks forward to each year – the Box Car Races as part of Niagara Employment Help Centre ‘Help a Child Smile’ Night Saturday August 8th.
