Deadlines ahead of February 27th Q&A Session
and Stock Cars
With Speed Week underway in Florida – deadlines and Driver Sessions are bringing Merittville Speedway’s 65th Season closer and closer.
When February becomes March – the focus will be the two Race Car Shows at the Pen Centre (March 14th to March 20th) and the Seaway Mall from March 31st to April 3rd.
Drivers from any of the 5 Lucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Divisions – the Pinty’s Delicious Foods 358 Modified, Yager Bros Trucking Sportsman, Hoosier Stock, Rev’s Full Throttle Powersports Modified Lite and Van Raine Construction 4 Cylinder Divisions wishing to display their cars must be valid 2016 Merrittville Speedway Members by the DEADLINE – this Friday February 12th by 4:30 PM.
Those wishing to purchase their Memberships, Driver VIP or Season Passes can make arrangements by contacting (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones at the Winter Office in Bicknell Racing Products by calling 905-685-7223 or via e mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A draw to set the line up for each show will be held Monday February 15th.
Saturday Night and those looking to compete in the Tuesday Lucas Oil Weekly Karting Series are reminded of a Q&A Session set for Saturday February 27th from 1 PM to 4 PM at the same Bicknell Racing Products – 117 Cushman Road in St. Catharines. “It isn’t every year that we can say there will be no rule changes,” relays (Merrittville Speedway GM) Erica Bicknell-Jones, “but throughout our 5 Saturday Night Divisions … we are thrilled that’s the case as everyone is readying for 2016!
Key Staff Members will be in attendance ready to answer any questions that anyone might have.
” Drivers planning on competing in either the Sportsman or Pinty’s Delicious Foods 358 Modified Divisions must be Merrittville and DIRTcar Members and when registering for both licenses until February 27th will receive a FREE 65th Anniversary T Shirt.

ucas Oil Weekly Racing Series Race Teams have a number of options for the coming season – including the Driver VIP Passes for those that achieved 75% Attendance in 2015. Drivers in the 4 Cylinder Division can purchase their VIP Passes for $225.00 while for the Modified Lites, Hoosier Stocks, Sportsman and 358 Modifieds – the cost is $275.00. Drivers are reminded that their VIP Passes must be purchased by March 1st, 2016. Pit Season Passes are also available for $375.00 which includes a Merrittville Membership until March 1st when it becomes $400.00. Memberships are available at any time for $75.00 which will provide Drivers and Crew Members with a savings on admissions weekly.
Drivers must be current Merrittville Speedway Members to receive Point Fund and any other awards at the end of the season.
Race Fans and Race Teams should note that Season Tickets, Memberships and Season Passes require a photo of the pass holder.
