Seaway Mall now features today’s hottest stores and some of the classics … and Race Cars too when Merrittville Speedway’s Annual Race Car Show takes over Centre Court and hallway areas TODAY  to April 9th.

“You know it’s a sure sign another racing season is almost here when we showcase race cars and karts at the Seaway Mall,” said (Merrittville Speedway Owner  Don Spiece, “shoppers will have a chance to pick up a schedule and see racers that will be featured through-out our 66th Season.”

Former Pinty’s Delicious Foods 358 Modified Champion Larry Lampman Jr. and former S&W Service Centre Sportsman Champion Greg Panunte are both returning action in 2017 in almost identical Andrew Sittler-owned 358 Modifieds and are featured in Centre Court.

The first Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series racer  to see when entering through the Niagara Street Entrance is the Sportsman of Rob Knapp. Throughout the mall rookies Derek Moore and Rob Goulding also represent the division.

The Wood Motor Company Modified Lite Division will have the motorcycle engine-powered cars of veterans Paul Klager, Steven Beckett, Chris Watson and 2017 Rookie Tucker Wood featured.

Full fendered fans will enjoy Kyle Rothwell, Cole Hardy, Sam Iftody, Alex Riley and Chris Laskey’s Central Fabricating  4 Cylinder cars in addition to the Hoosier Stocks of Dave Small, Kevin Kocarik and Derek Van Mill.

Special Event Fans will not be disappointed either as Jimmy Huppenen’s Sprint Car will be on display until Friday when the real work will begin in preparation for April 22nd’s Peters Excavating Spring Sizzler featuring the Patriot Sprint Tour.

Promoting Monday May 22nd’s Brian Stevens Memorial presented by Zavitz Financial Strategies and ZFS Employee Benefit Solutions are the RUSH Late Models of Rob Pietz and Sam Pennachio.

The Tuesday Start celebrates Jaime Ayers 20th Bithday and the second season of the 3 race Eataly Foods Triple Truck Challenge by Tomaski Racing. Her truck will also be on display.

Rounding out the display are three young racers who compete in the Tuesday Night Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Karting Series – Hana Rothwell, Madelyn Goulding and Nigel Pendykoski.
